Dr. Motta earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas - El Paso, her medical degree from the University of Texas - Galveston, and completed her internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. She is Board Certified in Cardiology, Vascular Ultrasound, Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography.


Dr. Motta was born in Mexico City and grew up in Juarez/El Paso. She studied medicine in Texas and Arizona and worked briefly in Indiana before returning to her roots and family in the desert southwest. She enjoys raising her children. She feels that she couldn’t have chosen a better place to live, where the great people of Las Cruces have embraced her and her family with love and kindness. Her goal in working with Memorial and New Mexico Cardiac Care is to improve the health of this community.
