Dr. Pirela-Cruz is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with extensive experience in surgery of the hand and wrist. Dr. Cruz has served as a surgeon for the military for 30 years, all over the country. He is also an accomplished medical illustrator and professor. Dr. Cruz has a passion for Latin Jazz and is very proud to be a part of the Memorial Bone + Join Center team.
Dr. Cruz obtained his medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center and SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He then completed his fellowship in hand surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Harringtion has been with Memorial Bone + Joint Center since 2007. He received his medical degree from the University of New Mexico and completed his residency at Brooke Army Medical Center. Dr. Harrington is fellowship trained in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at The Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado; and Adult Spinal from Alamo Bone and Joint Clinic in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Ravessoud was most recently an Orthopedist at Beech Orthopedic Associates in Long Beach, California, in addition to serving as a Clinical Preceptor at the UCLA School of Nursing. He received his medical degree from UCLA School of Medicine. He then completed his residency in Surgery at UCLA Department of Surgery, followed by San Francisco Orthopedic Residency Training Program.
Dr. Eric Sandoval is a Board Certified Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician. He has special interests in cardiovascular, respiratory and musculoskeletal pathology. Dr. Sandoval was trained in the most advanced technology and resources, in order to achieve the fastest return to live activities. He is honored to return to Memorial Bone + Joint Center and the Memorial team. He looks forward to providing excellent care for the Las Cruces community. Dr. Sandoval is fluent in English and Spanish.
Dr. Schwartz has more than 30 years of experience in orthopedic surgery. He completed a residency in general surgery at The Roosevelt Hospital at Columbia University College of Medicine and an orthopedic surgery residency at The Hospital for Special Surgery at Cornell University College of Medicine. Dr. Schwartz is fellowship trained in orthopedic biomechanics, also at The Hospital for Special Surgery. He specializes in total joint replacement of the hip, knee and shoulder and revision joint replacement. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
