Our Team

Dr. Barry Cromer

Dr. Barry Cromer is a general orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, including knee and shoulder injuries. He also treats sprains, strains, fractures and rotator cuff trauma. To provide patients with the least invasive option and the shortest recovery time, he performs many of his surgeries arthroscopically. Dr. Cromer brings more than 20 years of orthopedic experience to the Las Cruces area.

Dr. George Harrington

Dr. Harringtion has been with Memorial Bone + Joint Center since 2007. He received his medical degree from the University of New Mexico and completed his residency at Brooke Army Medical Center. Dr. Harrington is fellowship trained in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at The Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado; and Adult Spinal from Alamo Bone and Joint Clinic in San Antonio, Texas.
 

Dr. Raha Mobarak

Dr. Raha Mobarak is more than just a foot and ankle surgeon that focuses on the bones and ligaments of the foot; he also concentrates on the vascular composition of the lower leg. Dr. Mobarak has been a podiatrist for more than 15 years and finds service is the best way to giving back community.

Dr. Robert E. Schwartz

Dr. Schwartz has more than 30 years of experience in orthopedic surgery. He completed a residency in general surgery at The Roosevelt Hospital at Columbia University College of Medicine and an orthopedic surgery residency at The Hospital for Special Surgery at Cornell University College of Medicine. Dr. Schwartz is fellowship trained in orthopedic biomechanics, also at The Hospital for Special Surgery. He specializes in total joint replacement of the hip, knee and shoulder and revision joint replacement. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Brooke Gelecki, FNP-BC

Brooke Gelecki is a Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over seven years of experience in the orthopedics field. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2016 at Creighton University in Omaha, NE, which is also where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Brooke also attended North Dakota State University where she studied Nursing and Pre-Pharmacy.
