Our Medical Staff

Jonathan Owens, MD

Dr. Owens provides comprehensive care for disorders of the ears, nose and throat for adults and children. Dr. Owens is passionate about providing cutting-edge care to his patients, contributing to a productive health care community, and spending time with his family. He is currently one of only two providers in New Mexico who performs cochlear implant procedures. Cochlear implants are a proven medical treatment options for those with severe to profound hearing loss.

Education
Dr. Owens earned his medical degree at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his residency training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology.

Steven Marks, MD

Dr. Marks is a highly experienced Board Certified Otolaryngologist, who is dedicated to providing the best possible care for patients with problems of the ears, nose, and throat. He is proud to be a part of the great community of Las Cruces and a member of the Memorial Medical Center team.

Education

Dr. Marks earned his medical degree and completed his residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology.

Matthew Bezzant, PA-C

Matthew Bezzant is a Board-certified Physician's Assistant. He brings a strong background in Family Medicine and ER experience prior to arriving at Memorial ENT. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology from BYU before achieving his master’s in medical science, physician’s assistant studies from Salus University.
