Kathleen Callaghan, MD, FACOG, OB/GYN

Dr. Callaghan received her medical doctorate from and completed her fellowship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. She has over 20 years of experience and is dedicated to being involved in the community. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. 


Darwana Ratleff, MD, FACOG, OB/GYN

Dr. Darwana Ratleff is a highly experienced, sought-after obstetrician and gynecologist in the Las Cruces area. She provides comprehensive, innovative medical and surgical care to a wide variety of patients. Her professional goal is to promote wellness and increase overall OB/GYN health and fitness in the Las Cruces community. She believes in an integrated approach to medical management by building a physician/patient trusting relationship with effective communication.

Dr. Ratleff received her medical degree and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Shahrzad Tabibi, MD, OB/GYN, FACOG

Dr. Shahrzad Tabibi is a highly experienced, board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist. Dr. Tabibi has special interests in adolescent gynecology, laparoscopy, and high-risk obstetrics. In her free time, Dr. Tabibi enjoys spending time with her twin daughters, traveling, reading, cooking, hiking, knitting, and shopping for shoes. She is proud to provide high-quality health care for the women in the community of Las Cruces and in southern New Mexico.

Dr. Shahrzad Tabibi received her medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. She went on to complete her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Briana Wellington, MD, FACOG, OB/GYN

Dr. Briana Wellington is a highly experienced, board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist. From a young age, Dr. Wellington had a great passion for science, specifically the how and why of the human body. Studying to become a physician, allowed her to pursue her passion for science all in preparation for a life of servanthood and service to those in her community. Dr. Wellington is committed to providing compassionate, competent women's health care for this community and she strives to ensure that her patients are well informed and make the best choices for their individual health.

Evangelia Falkner, MSN, CNM

Eva completed her midwifery degree at Frontier Nursing University, where she graduated with honors. Before becoming a midwife, Eva worked as a registered nurse in a Medical Intensive Care Unit as well as Labor and Delivery. Eva was a Certified Nurse Midwife with the Stony Brook Midwives in New York for six years before she and her family relocated to New Mexico. Eva’s academic background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Eva strives to provide compassionate and family-centered care and looks forward to supporting the women of her community.

Jessica Herrera, CNM

Jessica Herrera has years of nursing experience in various fields including labor & delivery, postpartum, neonatal ICU, emergency/trauma medicine, and ICU. She is dedicated to caring for women and their families throughout their lifespan, with an emphasis on pregnancy, childbirth, and gynecologic and reproductive healthcare.


Jennifer Matherly, CNM, CNP

Jennifer believes in patient-centered care and in educating women about their pregnancy, the physiologic process of birth, and the risks and benefits of any intervention. Jennifer's personal style is to practice safe, low-intervention, evidence-based care within the framework of clinical judgment and patient preferences. Her professional interests are broader than pregnancy and birth. She also provides gynecologic care to all women of all ages. She has a special interest in contraception and working with adolescents in the areas of gynecologic health, STI prevention, contraception, and pregnancy. In all aspects of care, she focuses on education and empowering women to feel confident in their health choices.
