Growing up in rural New Mexico and having limited access to resources, Florida decided to become a healthcare provider to help underserved areas in the state. She also lived in Las Cruces for many years as a child and is grateful for the opportunity to give back to a community that gave her so much. She earned a Master's of Science in Nursing, Nurse Midwifery, from the University of New Mexico. Before coming to Las Cruces, she worked as Midwife at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell. She specializes in women's health across the lifespan; OB care, including high risk; gynecology, including complex in-office procedures; menopause services; contraceptive implants and IUDs; and pessary therapeutics.
Florida strives to treat her patients as family, with the same time, dedication and commitment she would invest in those closest to her.
