Dr. Marks is a highly experienced Board Certified Otolaryngologist, who is dedicated to providing the best possible care for patients with problems of the ears, nose, and throat. He is proud to be a part of the great community of Las Cruces and a member of the Memorial Medical Center team.
Dr. Marks earned his medical degree and completed his residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology.
Barry Cromer, MD
Dr. Barry Cromer is a general orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, including knee and shoulder injuries. He also treats sprains, strains, fractures and rotator cuff trauma. To provide patients with the least invasive option and the shortest recovery time, he performs many of his surgeries arthroscopically. Dr. Cromer brings more than 20 years of orthopedic experience to the Las Cruces area.

Fermin Fontan, MD
Dr. Fontan is one of the physicians at the Memorial Heartburn Center and Weight Loss Center. He provides solutions to metabolic, weight loss and gastroesophageal reflux diseases for the people of New Mexico.
Born and raised in Argentina, Dr. Fontan speaks English and Spanish fluently bringing a bilingual treatment option for his patients. Dr. Fontan studied medicine at Universidad de Buenos Aires in Buenos Aires in Argentina. He completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD and at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, MA. He completed his fellowship in Minimally Invasive Bariatric Surgery at the University of Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.
Dr. Fontan is board-certified in General Surgery specializing in metabolic and weight loss surgery. He performs laparoscopic gastric adjustable banding, sleeve gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass and duodenal switch bariatric procedures.
